Asexual

A person who experiences little or no sexual attraction to others. Asexuality is a sexual orientation, not a disorder or a phase. Asexual (or "ace") people may still experience romantic attraction, form deep relationships, and in some cases have sex — they simply do not experience sexual attraction in the way allosexual (non-asexual) people do.

Asexuality exists on a spectrum that includes:

• Demisexual: Only experiencing sexual attraction after forming a deep emotional bond.
• Gray-asexual: Experiencing sexual attraction rarely or weakly.

Asexuality is distinct from aromanticism (lack of romantic attraction), though some people identify as both asexual and aromantic. The "A" in LGBTQIA+ stands for asexual, aromantic, and agender among other identities.
